8 best things to do in Yamba
1. Blue and green Rock pools
Just down the road in Angourie you’ll find these amazing natural pools. The blue rock pools were one of our highlights. Make sure you time them just after a high tide. From the blue rock pools you can walk around the coastline to beautiful Angourie point and Backbeach over the sand dunes.
2. Shopping
Shop till your heart’s content with beautiful pieces from Embella jewellery, the boutique also stocks a range of exclusive clothing brands & accessories.
3. Sunrise swim at Pippi beach
Start the day the best way with a swim in the crystal clear waters of Pippis beach. You’ll probably find yourself spending the whole day at this beautiful spot. The perfect corner to get out of those summer north east winds.
4. Sunset at Lovers Point
Watch the sun dip over Pippis beach and the sky turn pink from the grassy hill of lovers point. Perfect spot for a picnic.
5. Markets
Head to the Wednesday morning farmers markets at the river mouth. Pick up some fresh local organic produce or indulge in some delicious bakery treats.
6. Main Beach
Visit Main Beach, beautiful for a sunrise swim and breaky at the Kiosk or to spend the whole day.
7. Swim at convent beach
One of our favourite spots to swim and relax in the shade of the Pandanus palms. Keep your eye out for the friendly Dolphins.
8. Picnic at the Lighthouse
Set your picnic rug by the lighthouse overlooking main beach and take in the stunning views.
